... read more /> We were welcomed by the owner and she showed us around. Also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates, and she even added a hand written plaque for our anniversary!!

All of the amenities and appliances were well kept and worked well, the oven, microwave and sink were all amazing.

Our favourite parts of the lodge were the comfy furniture the shower and the HOT TUB!! Which were all big enough even for my 6’4 boyfriend:)

The local area is also great. With lots of pubs and restaurants, also lots of shops for food shopping.
We did many walks too which were gorgeous.

Check in was quick and easy, hot tub was ready for us upon arrival and we spent as much time as we could in it! We ordered a nice takeaway for the first night from the list of recommended places. We did a shop before we arrived and really had no reason to leave once we were in, everything was great and we had everything we needed. Nice and private, and the train line didn't bother us at all. Hope to go back soon :)

The lodge was well appointed and immaculate, we would have been... read more grateful for a couple of extra bits like a chopping board/cork screw etc.. the kitchen itself worked perfectly and the bathroom was lovely too. Only improvement would perhaps be a new mattress for Warwick lodge as we found it very soft. Overall, we had a lovely stay and thanks for the Easter egg too- such a nice touch.
