  me and my partner had a amazing stay at this lodge for 3 nights for my birthday as soon as we walked in the place was clean and the host... read more was always so friendly and responsive to my questions and concerns, the only complaint i have is the shower not being warm for very long however that may be due the boiler , however this lodge was amazing and hopefully we will be back soon in the summer :)

... read more /> We were welcomed by the owner and she showed us around. Also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates, and she even added a hand written plaque for our anniversary!!

All of the amenities and appliances were well kept and worked well, the oven, microwave and sink were all amazing.

Our favourite parts of the lodge were the comfy furniture the shower and the HOT TUB!! Which were all big enough even for my 6’4 boyfriend:)

The local area is also great. With lots of pubs and restaurants, also lots of shops for food shopping.
We did many walks too which were gorgeous.

The cabin was pristine, there was a nice folder with all local details and distances which helped us a lot with eating out, but there’s a co-op a minute down the road.
The bed was so comfy and my son loved the hot tub and was in it twice a day. It was central to all the places we wanted to visit, and was only an hours drive from cadburys world, Warwick castle, Chester zoo etc which was great, but there’s so much more you could do.

Check in was quick and easy, hot tub was ready for us upon arrival and we spent as much time as we could in it! We ordered a nice takeaway for the first night from the list of recommended places. We did a shop before we arrived and really had no reason to leave once we were in, everything was great and we had everything we needed. Nice and private, and the train line didn't bother us at all. Hope to go back soon :)
